Just Back From Texas Eggfest

The Texas Eggfest was absolutely super. A great time was had by all. Lots of great food, friendly folks and in depth discussion about the fine art of Qing. Count me in for next time cause I had a great time this time. Thanks Grillmeister for organizing such a great event.

StubbyQ,[p]Thanks indeed to Ed. (Is Ed Grillmeister?). I had originally thought it was a BGE sponsored event, but I was totally floored when Ed told me that he had organized it all. He did a fantastic job! It was a great time![p]By the way, Who ended up with my Stainless Steel fork and heavy gauge stainless tongs?[p]Hopefully, BGE will get more involved for next year's Texas Eggfest.[p]It was great to meet everyone there, and it was great to see a few new people eggcited about buying new eggs..[p][p]

I lost track of who won what. They gave away so many door prizes is unbeliveable. What a great event. I won a BGE hat and a set of BGE grilling planks. I of course wanted the Medium egg and the BBQ Guru. Guess I have to buy them now.

Me...! Me...! I won the best door prize, my choice of Lawn Ranger products to add to my growing collection. I'm a happy guy. And I take my hat off to GrillMeister and his wife, Lisa, for putting on a spactular show/party/fest/and general good time. They held back nothing and gave all of themselves to make sure we all enjoyed ourselves. That we did and I think it has been pretty much decided that we can do it again next year. Same place. I took some photos but haven't even had time to look at them yet. Oh yea, the food was fantastic. My Sweetie got recipes for all kinds of stuff. All I can say is if you missed it this year there's always next year.[p]Spring Chicken

The folks at BGE may not have been involved in the organization of this Eggfest, but behind the scenes, they've provided a tremendous level of support plus donated loads of great door prizes. I do believe however, we'll have some folks from Atlanta here next year complete with grilling tools and swim suits.[p]About your fork. Shotgun Fred has it. Give him a ring at 1 800 288 GURU (4878) and he will ship it back to you.
