  • Nice clean table. Wish mine was that way. I need to wash mine and then seal it. Or use it as a template and build me a new one. Actually, I plan to dismantle mine and use it as parts in a complete permanent island when I move to my new house.

Looks like you got Photobucket licked!
  • Capt,

Table looks great, but you really need to put something between the bottom of the egg and the wood shelf. Most of us use a concrete paver from HD or Lowes. Bricks, ceramic tile or whatever. Keep the little green feet as spacers between the paver and the Egg. There have been several pics on here of wooden tables badly scorched even when a paver was used, but no air space between the egg and paver. Sure don't need to start a fire on your nice deck!

Your getting it. When I post a pic I leave a line of text describing the pic then hit the enter key twice and post the pic that way the pic won't be beside the text and the reader won't have to scroll over to see everything. You will get the hang of it soon enough. ;)

I also had my egg in my new table on the feet with out a paver and after only five months I took everything apart and hauled it almost 1000 miles and found my table was significantly scorched. Since then I stained the table and applied four coats of spar urethane and I got some fire bricks and put my egg in the finished table on some fire bricks on the three green feet. two in front and one in the back.
