Thought I'd get cute and roll my sweet and spicy chipotle/adobo wings in some stone ground meal for a little crunch. Boys and girls,...don't try this at home, or anywhere else for that matter. They looked Ok and were edible, but I sure won't do that again. Glad I only did one small package instead of my usual wing fling. As I said, somethings are best left unchanged

Just the grit of the corn meal that was bad?
Some places dip their deep fried fish and shrimp in a course corn meal after the batter. I don't care for the grit and raw corn meal taste. Your sure getting some great food shots Mike.

Like pinto beans with salt pork, mashed potatoes, chicken fried steak and gravy, steamed cabbage, yeast rolls....anything else? oh yeah...apple pie. Think I'm hungry now. :S

Looks can be deceiving. My wife thought I looked like I had common sense and money when we first met. Go figure.
