Build egg into my trailer?

I'm new, going to buy my egg today (if it's in stock).
I'm building a 20' competition rig, and want to incorporate the egg. how do you guys feel about the egg as part of the trailer? is it too fragile? will it be just fine and people do it all the time?
if it's to fragile for trailer, how do you suggest they get transported, as I see them at competitions, and that is why I want it?
I ask, so I'll know what stand or rack I need to pick up. if you guys say I'm crazy then I'll get table to set it in on the back deck... if you say it's a good idea, I'll just get the nest, and cut a hole for it (with braces ect) in my trailer's countertop,,, and I'll just leave it there as that is where I do most of my cooking at the house anyway.
trailer is not yet done, if it's deemed a reasonable idea to incorporate, I'm up for suggestions.

A number of Eggheads have incorporated one or more Eggs into trailer designs, some even for competition. Hopefully, some of them will jump in with photos and suggestions.
Eggs actually ride quite well in vehicles, so long as they are secured well and don't bounce around.
Keep us posted on your end design and competition results.

I bought a stainless table at Sam's and had the top cutout for the egg. I also put a wide base under the table to keep it from tipping over. The egg rides real well.
Other guys leave in the nest and have a 1/2 cutout to roll the egg into and then strap to the wall. -
egg rests 100% on the cut edge of the SS table?
or do you have supports and tie downs? -
I still use ratchet straps to tie down the table. The egg sits in the table.
