Just did some ribs the drbbq way. I actually ran out of some of the sweet stuff at the end, but they still came out amazing. The texture is just perfect, where they don't fall off the bone with a shake, but they just come right off with a tiny bite. They could have been a tad sweeter at the end, but I ran short on some ingredients since I was cooking more for the drinking crowd, and we were focusing more on beer by the end. The pics definitely don't do the end result justice, as these were some tasty ribs.[p]To find out how the good dr does his ribs...take his class :)[p]I'm not paid to advertise his class, but I just want to give it a plug anyway. I talked to the good dr today, and there were 4 main takeaways I got from the course - the way he trimmed everything to cook evenly, the way he thought like a judge, the way he "forced" the judge to eat what he wanted him/her to eat, and the bbq "secrets."[p]The class I was in just had such a cool makeup of folks (thanks to mr Nature Boy here...). I'd actually pay to take it again since now I know enough to ask smarter questions. Also, it was enough fun that I'd probably take it again just to hang with the other classmates.[p]As the good dr said at our class, if you have some money in your pocket and some adventure in you, take the class. It's a good time![p]P5160011.JPG[p]P5160035.JPG[p]Later,

Cornfed,[p]Wow, I just read some of the other threads about stuff on the chin and the offering of money. I have nothing on my chin other than sauce and beer, and have no offer of money. Still, though, this was some good shizzle (as Snoop Dogg might say), and I just wanted to post about it![p]Meanwhile, I ran a red light with a car behind me that had no lights on top of it on my drive home this evening. That car ran the light, too, and turned out to be a cop car. For some reason, he/she decided not to pull me over. I want to take time to thank whatever God you pray to, and I will be sending a $100 donation to the Piscataway police tomorrow in honor of all the good work they do...[p]Heeeeeeeeee,
