Eggfest Noob question

Okay, I just got my Egg last summer, and haven't been to an Eggfest yet. I haven't got one in mind specifically, but have seen a couple good Eggfest noob questions (what to cook, etc...) but having not been, have a question about the demo Eggs.
What percentage of the people attending bring their own Egg, vs use a demo Egg? Are there a lot of demo Eggs at these (I hear the demo's are for sale at the end?). How do you get on the list to get use demo Egg during the Eggfest, and how does the demo-buying thing work?
Thanks in advance.

At most of the fest you preorder a demo egg and pay for it in advance. They are used at the fest and when it is all over you take your egg home and live happily ever after.
Since i have a medium named Suitcase I take him to Egg fest so I have my own egg. Of course if I were flying to a fest I would use a demo.

 pick an Eggfest, click on banner, register to cook (or just sample), click on demo eggs, and purchase one or two :woohoo: simple as cooking spatchcock chicken :woohoo:

What kind of discount to the usually offer?

It is different at every fest and if you contact or click on a fest banner at the top of the page most of them have some info on price and some ya need to call the dealer.

A lot of it depends on the fest. Atlanta for example no one brings eggs. Smaller fests folks tend to. Cook what you like to cook, there is no competition. I forget what the rule of thumb is but something like a full meal for seven people, divided in to samples.

Like Jim says it's a little different from fest to fest and there packages. Here is a link so you can get a idea what they go for and what it includes.

What is the reason for no-one bringing them to Atlanta? Do they just offer that many demos?
