Time To Catch Up

well i have been a little slack, on my pictures lately. not that i have not taken any it is i just have not posted any.. sorry for my lazieness..


i have been doing alot of bread i have done some in the egg and some in the oven. the reason for the oven i was running low on lump for a couple and egg not big enough for some things..

this is some portugese sweet bread. i was not sure how much i was going to like this one but it turned out really well



here is the inside

here is a itialian bread i tried to get cute with but screwed up it looks weird but was delish



this was the wife's favorite it is cinimon, walnut and raisen {sp}



and i did alot of bread sticks they would not fit in the egg in one batch so i did all of them in the oven




i proabably did 5 batches of them but only took pictures of two


then it got nasty my wife loves to have sweets in the house for the kids but i am the one who usually eats them. well she is a chocolate freak.. she loves the stuff. she decided to bring a bunch of suckers home. i had asked nicely to stop but she went ahead and brought them home.. sooo i decided to make a chocolate nut dream roll




she of course was not happy so what did i do i made another for the superbowl :evil:

when i made the first one i used both eggs at the same time so here is my first with something diffrent on my two larges



there was a meatloaf on the one on the left




yea i know alot of baking but there is a meatloaf in there so bubba time does not have a coronary :laugh:

it is super easy you got to try the sausage cheese roll.. i add peppers celery and onion it is pretty tastey also....

and i made a couple batches of SOS with some of it

yes the woman said something about it last week on saturday.. sooo.... :laugh:

oh well i guess i need to get good with the knife if i am going to make it till eggtober :P :silly:

Beautiful stuff, Buddy! I love bread! I'm doing meatloaf tonight, but have been busy with utility people all day so am doing it in the crock pot (first try) but looks and smells wonderful. I know...blasphemy, but I'm old....OK? Hope all is well with you and yours.

Bread on the Egg is a beautiful thing. Nice job. The French loaves...your slats look great. That I think is the main thing that has held me up from trying. Everything I've read makes it sound like rocket science...yours look good, are you really well practiced?
