Forty Creek Whiskey Ham

Going to try something new today. A double smoked Ham that includes a Moppin' Sauce of 40 Creek Whiskey, Apple Cider, Honey and Cinnamon. Then a Glaze of 40 Creek, Brown Sugar, Mustard and Honey. If it turns out OK, I'll post results and recipe tonight.
Egret's Maple Bourbon Ham is outstanding! Let's see how this cook measures up.
If I can get through this without drinking the mop/glaze, I think it stands a chance.

    By building on Egret's Maple Bourbon Ham it can only be outstanding ;)
    Send pic's and explain moping sauce a little more, as to when you do moping sauce and when Egrets?
    Salado TX & 30A  FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given a Mini to add to the herd.

    Frigging Wind has been howling off the lake for 3 days now. Wind Chill for Egging is not very enjoyable at all!
    Having said that, hope you enjoy the Frozen Fest. My own little Frozen Fest today is enough for me. It's nice to get a BGE cook in, but not eggactly my cup of tea you know.
