    No, not at all. It's just fishing from the freezer has such a great success rate. ;) A permanent shack will be on the lake with holes drilled and heated. I have a few tip-ups and a handful of rods. My buddy Scott will be bringing the auger and more gear.

    You may or may not need the long johns (unless we sit around the campfire at night), but the winter coat sounds like a good idea.
    Who really knows with a 10 day forecast, but right now “they” say it will be mostly sunny, highs in the 22 to 24 F. range (almost shirt-sleeve weather) ;) and lows of 9 F. for both Sat. and Sun.
    As for food; I’m packing onions, carrots and potatoes from my cellar and a chuck roast and some burger from the freezer.
    It would help to know how many of us there will be…..But I’ll just pack a bunch.
    See you all sometime on Sat. morning…Gotta’ work Fri. night.
