Plate Setter or Flip ring...That is the question..

So after much debate, and help from you all, i purchased an XL BGE today.. Really a quick call to Tom at CGS sealed the deal for me.
Now time to get set-up for indirect BBQ, pizza, etc.
So my question is this. Flipring3, with hanger, drip pan, and stone(for indirect) OR a plate setter?
Can the CGS products do everything the flip ring can? I would assume yes, and more, correct?
Any and ALL opinions are much appreciated.
Thanks again, for all the guidance.

Let me rephrase my question..
Can CGS's flip ring set-up do everything the plate setter can do?
I really need to order one or the other, so i can cook indirect, and just want to make sure it can do everything i need.
I am sure down the road i will get the other, anyway. -
I'm thinking Tom would be the one to ask about it. XLs aren't nearly as popular as Large BGEs, so there probably aren't very many people with flip ring experience. I'd never heard of it before you provided the link, but I've got a Large, and the flip ring appears to be only for the XL.
I'm not sure how the flip ring for the XL compares to the adjustable rig for the Large, but lots of people swear by the adjustable rig, because it's so versatile...but it's also more expensive. I bought my plate setter before I had heard anything about Tom's company. I don't know which I would have purchased, if I had known...but I guess it doesn't much matter at this point. I did buy the spider, though, and love it.
