Just finished watchin the Food Network Special with host Al Roker...the subject was the Memphis Barbecue Championships.
AND.....if you watched carefully...among all the traditional barrel-shaped cookers and Webers...yes...there it was....our baby...the Big Green Egg!!! Someone knew that the best smoker/barbecue unit belonged at the most prestigious barbecue get-together in the world.
The Egg is now goin PRIME TIME!!!!!

    Cat,[p]Cool. After our mini RE2K, I'm about ready to kick back and watch the Al Roker special which I taped while sitting outside all day and enjoying this fine Jersey afternoon. I'll be keeping a close watch for Mr BGE (although after all the spirits I enjoyed today, it may be tough to make a positive ID...).[p]Cornfed
