improve - and enlargement of the mats

Hello,

I´m quite unsatisfied with the mates of my L egg.
Cause the provided tables are quite instable and not very solid - and a bit small ;)

I`m thinkin´ `bout a solution which replaces the mates with a bigger (longer) wodden backing, which is coated. So that I can handle meat and sauces on the table and can wipe it after cookin.

My idea is to keep generally the folding idea left and right of the egg, replace the mate tables with a better wodden backing and brace the backing at the end with a bracket (i.e. aluminium stack).

Has anybody done such or a similar thing ?
Perhaps pics ?
Any suggestions ?

Appreciate your opinions and recommendations

Greetings

Simon
