My rain cap broke
Gshell
Posts: 44
I have been egging for about 2 years now with very few problems and in one day I dropped the ceramic rain cap and the daisy wheel. The cap broke into about 200 pieces and the tab that holds the handle on the daisy wheel broke.
Does anyone know where I can get a new ceramic cap?

gshell,
Do you have a dealer you can see? I got a spare ceramic foot by going into BBQs Galore and begging. They happened to have a couple of spares. If the dealer has ever had an accident or something, he might have a spare top. Worst comes to worst you can always call BGE headquarters in Atlanta and order one.[p]TNW

gshell,
I broke the rain cap for my small egg. I think I paid around $8.00 for a new one. A large shouldn't be much more.[p]~nikki
