Mold in my Egg

Have any of you had problems with mold growing in your egg? When I opened my egg tonight after about two weeks of no use, there was a small amount of mold growing in "my precious." [p]Any home remedites to avoid this problem in the future? My remedy was to fire the sucker up to about 750 and grill away. [p]thanks,
