24 Hour Bloody Mary Marinated Wings

Got a wild hair in me last weekend and decided to try something a little off the wall. Marinated wings in Mr. and Mrs. T spicy bloody mary mix (I would have preferred Zing Zang or Whiskey Willies but this is what my grocery store had and I was hungover and wanted to get the hell out of Wal-Mart on a Saturday at noon).
Anyways, here are the raws. I marinated them in the following mixtures. You just want to make sure that the wings are fully covered so adjust how you want.
2 cups of bloody mary mix
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 cup of Franks Red Hot or hot sauce of choice
1/2 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup of Sriracha hot chili sauce
Marinating in the concoction
On grill, indirect with platesetter legs up and drip pan at 350-375 dome for an hour. Basting with concentrated mixture of chili sauce, lemon juice, soy sauce and a tiny bit of bloody mix.
They were ridiculous and 4 rounds of them later, I have people begging me to do them for the super bowl. Give them a whirl, you wont be disappointed!
GO VOLS!!

Those look good. You say you marinated the wings in this sauce for 24 hours prior to the cook?

That looks great. I will have to give it a tryThis is the greatest signature EVAR!

Thanks Geoff, I saved it in my favorites. Tim

Definitely looks interesting! On a scale of 1-10, how hot?

oh, I would say like a 3 at the most. That can vary depending how concentrated your chili sauce baste is. I am definitely planning on making them a little more spicy next time I do them. Just a really nice, tender, super flavorful wing all the way through.
