I saw no need to protect the McFest name, myself. Heck, it could become nationwide and help the fundraising even more? I see more and more organizations making things considerably more complicated than they have to be. Sometimes I don't see "the big picture". I seriously doubt any damage will fall upon McDonalds even if the McFest name application flies. I see vanity on both parties sides, yet the only suffering I sense is the Special Olympics. I will continue to support the S.O. and seldom do I eat at the golden arches anyway. The main objective is in support, not if part of any one's name is tagged for helping such a wonderful event. I fear that if the name stands up in court, she might do the same as Mickey-D's and go after the Egg"Fest".
