My daisy wheel has been real hard to re-open the next day after shutting down both vents.....or just letting it sit over night....
I have found a solution.......each time when I am cooking I spray a little bit of "Pam" on the daisy wheel....works like a champ....during cook and the next day.....[p]Dean

    bodean,
Another idea, is to put the daisy wheel on the grill when you finish cooking and use the rain cap on top. The heat melts any greasy buildup.

    bodean,
yes as Shelby said... Put it in the egg when you're through doing some 700* steaks...leave the bottom vent open for 5 mins or so and shut the lower vent and put the rain cap on. It'll be good as new the next day. Mine came out looking actually better than new.
