BBQ Sauce Question

I made a really awesome ( in my opinion) batch of BBQ sauce. The batch made more than what I want to give away or use in a timely manner. What would be the most appropriate method for saving the sauce? I have considered canning or frezzing. Does anyone have a better method that I have not thought of yet?

My grandmother has canned vegi's her entire life and said she would teach me. Are the steppe the same as canning vegi's? If so I should be in good shape. If not may need some direction. I really don't want to hand out gut rot to my closest friends and family.

I've canned some stuff, but not enough to be an expert.I know some stuff only requires water cannin, which is what I do.Other things call for pressure canning and I ain't goin there. Here's a site I use....

Hey thanks Hoss the link helped out. Hopefully my grandmothers canning equipment is in good working order and I will be set. Not only that but I'll have a good time hangingout with her for the day. You never know if I keep my mouth shut and listen I might learn a thing or two.

If it is that good, why do you need to save any of it It should be gone within the 4 hour safe zone time. If not something must be wrong with your meat cooking. Just cook much more food and use it all then make some more. That way, you don't need to worry about canning or preserving it. Or you could invite us all in for a big egg part and I guarantee you won't have any left to worry about
Good sauce should no problem, just cook enough meat for all of us -
Any Chance of sharing the recipe?
