reheating butts
Borders
Posts: 665
Starting Friday night, I smoked 3 6lb butts(I know you're laughing Stump) and then promptly moved on to salmon. Had the egg going for 30 hours straight. Felt almost like BobinFla there for a minute.[p]I want to reheat the butts(I know Stump) for 1:00 lucnh today. They are uncut, wrapped in foil.[p]Also, I'm looking for other serving ideas. Have any of you sliced a butt, rather than pulling?

Borders,
I have sprinkled water over butts, wrap tightly in foil and put in the oven/egg at 200 to 225 for two to three hours. I have also pulled placed in tightly covered pan and reheat at the same temp. If you do this, stir to keep from drying out. Secret is to not dry out...sprinkle water over and recover if necessary. Have seen some posts where some have nuked in plastic wrap.
