Rib Eye for me... always. Good amounts of fat to help make it fork tender!!![p]I like to drizzle Dale's sauce over them, let them sit for 5-10 minutes. Add a heavy dose of Ken Stone's Splinters rub and Charcrust Hickory and do them up TRex style.[p]Good eats!

As far as I am concerned it really is a coin toss. Both are very good cuts. My wife and I decided to agree to disagre on this one...she gets the ribeye and I get the NY strip. We usally share a few bites and find the differnces very tasty though. IMHO you can't go wrong with either...just personal tastes.

Julie, you may be right. This AM, I had my butcher cut two prime ribeyes at 1.75" each. They will be T-rexed tonight.
I'm about to put on a chicken for experimental purposes. It's an afternoon of highballs, Masters' golf-watching, cooking and relaxing. Yee-haw.
