If i'm thinking right some dealers are selling their large eggs for $799. + plate setter + nest + delivery and good service = That may be a good price. Does his customers like to come back. Is he a good one to work with on warrenty issues. I am assuming you have to add tax to that.

Almost a year ago I bought a new large egg in Kentucky for $699. plus tax and not long after that they went up to $799. plus tax.

Sounds like a good price to me. I paid just a bit more than that for a large BGE, plate setter, pizza stone, ash tool, and starters. That was what passes for a sale here in So. Cal. :(

Around here the Home Show is coming up. Last year at the Home Show a dealer was selling LBGE on special for $649.

Depending on your plan, you may be inclined to ask about upcoming specials and spend the next couple weekends building a table. I wish I had skipped the nest...its just hanging in the garage in case I happen to need it for travelling, but haven't used it since the day the table came home. FWIW.

That's a fair price. These things rarely go on sale, I jumped at an offer for a new LBGE w/ a slightly used compact egg table w/ casters for $800, including tax!I've been hestitant to pull the trigger on a BGE, but as soon as I saw the add... I'm out here in the SF Bay Area.

Here in CT, I paid $819 plus tax for my large, plate setter, pizza stone, CI grid, nest, ash tool, box of starter cubes, 2 bags BGE lump, lg bag of hickory chunks and a grid brush. August 09.

I have been told that BGE recently increased their prices though.

See if you can get him to throw in some freebies. Hope this helps.
