It's official. Me and Cut are the designated chefs for Easter. We volunteered, of course, because we know that we'll have awsome Easter egged chow. Like some others on the forum, I'm thinking about a ham. Cut's probably cooking already.[p]I'd really appreciate any advice on a ham, or other favorite Easter dishes. THanks,[p]Scott

Borders,
I'll be making Margarita's in the Keys! I was planning on doing a butterflied lamb leg on my ceramic, but now it looks like it may be a game time decision. Have you thought about doing a "fresh" ham vs. a "smoked" ham? Tyler Florence, from the Food Channel, had a great recipe on his show last nite. It would convert easily to the egg. Basically, it was de-boned and stuffed with a home made dressing and cooked over a wood fire. It looks like a great Christmas cook also. Keep those ABT's going! Btw, the couple that went to the FLQFest with us ended up buying an egg.

Rumrunner, hey Buddy. I'm looking for ideas and really have no idea what I'm gonna do. Your idea is a start.[p]As for your friends, I'm not surprised. How can you spend a weekend around the likes of us, eat the chow that was coming off the grills on Saturday, and NOT buy an Egg? Good for them.[p]Scott[p]PS-are they on the forum? Under what name?

stike,[p]If you can get your hands on a smigeon of grape vine, it'll take that lamb from great to divine. (and... de vine LOL)[p]Ken

Borders,
My Easter will consist of painting eggs with my 4 yr old and 16 month old on Saturday, probably making pulled pork for Sunday Brunch after Church. We'll peel the eggs, make deviled eggs and have pulled pork sandwiches on cheap white buns with fresh fruit salad and possible cut veggies & dip. Somethin' simple.[p]There is the possibility my parents can not come and if they can't make it, the menu may change. My dad is my all night beverage drinking/grilling partner. If he is not there, I may not cook/drink all night in which case may just do a white tail back strap drunk & dirty style.[p]My mouth is a waterin' reading the different posts on what to have for Easter![p]Banker John[p]PS, check your e-mail for my reply
