I'm new to the BGE family and I'm wanting to cook a brisket for the football playoffs on Sunday. How large should a brisket be, generally? And I have a large BGE, will it fit in this size EGG? Thanks

At least 12 pounds. I generally prefer them in the 15-17 pound range. Get a whole packer cut brisket if you can.
I've fit a 16.5 pound brisket in my medium. Never seen one that wouldn't jam in the large somehow. -
That must be the thing to do, I'm planning one for Saturday's game...

I am sure they are out there but I haven't ever found one so bit it wouldn't fit on a large. You might have to jack the middle up with something to get started but when it shrinks down it will fit.
