Sam's Club carries a two pound tray of mixed baby peppers for about 4 bucks. What the heck -- gave it a try. Marinated them in a little oil, balsamic vinegar, kosher salt, black pepper, italian herbs, and lots of chopped garlic. [p]Got the Egg up to 450, with a few oak and ashwood chunks -- tossed those peppers on for five minutes, stirred 'em, and left them for another five. Easy.[p]Nicely charred, smokey, sweet, tender, juicy. Could not stop eating them. Ate the stems, too. [Great fiber.]
