This forum needs some sort of online buying guide or posted link area for all the products that are referenced or mentioned here.....rather time consuming having to search for the posted links to the products one is wanting to purchase ;)

  • Good idea Michael. I would like to find the best places to purchase eggcessories on-line since I do not have a good source that is close to home.

I know Grandpas Grub put some links together with this well known post.

Some of that stuff is here! ;)

What if 17 people want to have a sauce link or 9 different people are doing grill tools?

Would they have to sell advertising space?

It may be hard to have a fine line on what gets the royal treatment for marketing.

    Just sayin
  • Keep it Non-Commercial! I thought that advertising or pushing of products was frowned upon by the originators for just the reasons mentioned.

If I have left any references to egg stuff out email me and let me know. Especially forum member's stuff.

Off of the top of my head I now have:
    BGE
    Ceramic Grill Store
    GateMates
    DP
    Thirdeye's accessories

  • GG. I have seen your links. They are super!!

It would be nice to give them a permanent home that we can just click to get to without having to do a search. This would be especially helpful for new eggers who have not seen your list of links.

Why would you expect the "BGE" forum to promote other vendors products????? Or at best, make it easier for you to find them....Finding BGE products is no problem at all.....
  • Yeah, because opening Google and typing, bbq guru, dizzy pig, blues hog, and thermopen is too much.

That wasn't meant to come off rude. Yes, there are a lot of products mentioned but in my opinion it is narrow in scope. There's a lot of great products out there that I've never seen mentioned here in the last 3-4 years.

It is really great when folks share their experiences with different accessories new as well as old. Especially with pictures. I'm sure if there is an accessory or product available that is related to BBQ or grilling, someone on this forum will have some knowledge of it. Or can probably manufacture one.

I find having good feedback about vendors is also good. Over Christmas I had a bad experience with buying through Amazon. Eventually I got my purchase, but what a hassle! From now on I'll be willing to pay a few more $ to buy form a trusted and reputable seller.
