Tooth Floss Brisket Report

<p />Well, the tooth floss held, although it stretched as the brisket expanded. Ten hours later, though, the brisket hit 200 degrees all the way through. This picture was taken just after coming off the grill. Literally 10 minutes later our company of 10 people had devoured all 5.5 pounds. Fortunately, I had three pork tenderloins as backup, all of which also got cleaned upin short order too.[p]Also, I made "JJ's Favorite Q Sauce" to go with the brisket - it was delicious and I highly recommend it to others.[p]A great day of cooking and great night of friends & eating. Good food, good people, the Egg. It doesn't get much better.[p]TRex

Pakak,[p]I barely had the chance to remove the tooth floss before hungry hands dove in. It was wintergreen tooth floss - added a nice minty kick :-).[p]TRex

TRex, whatever, it was a much better choice than the nylon string! Sounds like it came out great.
