  • I made this Ham and Bean Soup once, substituting breakfast sausage for the ham and chick peas for the beans.

Instead of butter I substituted margarine.

We didn’t have onions or carrots so I subbed in water chestnuts and red bell pepper

This soup was the worst I ever had.

    What did I do wrong?

    Excellent as always. Thanks Ron.

Edited to fix the sideways pics but no luck.
BEAUTIFUL!!! I so wish I had a gas stove like yours! Our electric Jenn Aire still works fine, but having "flames" inside in the Winter months plus for other dishes year around soooo appeals to me...but it's not going to happen...
  • Just do it Ron. You will get a lot of use out of the new stove and you can’t take all of that money with you when you go.
