Prime Rib min/lb via Mad Max?
Looking for approx time in the Egg to reach 125 internal following MadMax receipe.

We did about a 7 lb prime rib for Christmas using the Mad Max recipe and I think it took about 2 1/2 hours total. It was the best prime rib we've ever made! I'm sure yours will be great too!

agree with Kat. did an 8 pounder the other night and it took about 2 hr 45 mins to reach 125. it hadn't been out of the fridge very long; starting internal temp was 40.
