I just wanted to take a minute and say thanks to everyone who participated in the 2004 Florida Fest, both participants and sponsors alike.[p]A special thanks needs to be made to Tony, our dealer from the Grilling Room. He made the trip all the way from Alabama to join us and brought 5 demo eggs to some very happy folks, along with a whole lot of other things to add to our doorprize offerings (a dozen bottles of spices, t-shirts, oil & herbs, charcoal). It was especially nice to work with a dealer who loves his eggs as much as I do! We had a lot of fun getting to know him and "Mongaux" and sure hope they'll come again next year...![p]I'd also like to thank all of the folks who contributed prizes for the raffle at the end of the Fest yesterday. So, thanks to....[p]*Big Green Egg - for the welcome gifts (koozies and firestarters) and doorprizes (platesetters and extended grids).[p]*DizzyPig BBQ - for an 8-pack of their rubs.[p]*Ken Stone - for a gift basket of his rubs and a second giftbasket of his sauces.[p]*Lawn Ranger - for a customized grill tool of the winner's choice.[p]*Ask-A-Butcher - for providing coffee, tea, soft drinks, gatorade, water and ice for everyone at the Fest.[p]*Mrs. Dogs - for two gift boxes (Disappearing Mustard, Dangerously Hot Pepper Sauce, Jerk Marinade, Green Chile Pistachio Nuts).[p]*TailgateHQ.com - for the USA Fan Brand Grilling Iron, Boat Blender (Cordless Drill Blender), and the Tipsy Chicken Cooker.[p]*American Patio and Fireplace - for the Grill Set and Case.[p]*Bobinfla - for two boxes of Kamado coconut extruded charcoal.[p]Finally, I'd like to thank Wardster, Lady J, Noonie and Traci for all of their help after the fest at the pavilion and for hosting the "after party" party. We had a BLAST! We enjoyed having you guys as neighbors and look forward to doing it again next time![p]And, last but not least, I'd like to thank everyone who came to our fledgling event. To have 75 people come and "share our table" makes me proud to be a part of the BGE family...[p]Cheers,
Tonia

QBabe,[p]I figured out why we're all so tired...Last year this was a TWO day event. We all did the same amount that we did last year, in only one day. Except for Q-Babe. I think she *DOUBLED* last year's cookin'. [p]Tony is, indeed, a "Wild-and-Crazy" person. Just the type everybody needs at a party.[p]Fun weekend for all. Let's make it THREE in a row and plan for NEXT YEAR![p]BOBinFla

QBabe,[p]Please don't mention "Bahama Mamas" or coconut rum.[p]At least for a week, anyway.

QBabe, henceforth....I think the fest needs to be renamed, "The Florida Ceramic Cooker Gluttony Demo and Rehab Fest" [p]This humble opinion coming from an old f*rt that can't keep up with you young'uns ;)[p]

Hi Paul,[p]Glad you could make it, though I was sorry to hear of your boating misfortune and I know you were disappointed that you didn't end up bringing the clams...maybe next time.[p]I can't help you with any pics, though 'cause unfortunately, I didn't get any taken.[p]Winding down on a beautiful Sunday evening,
