We're baaaack!

We just got home from Florida Fest, and I just wanted to thank everyone for their friendship and contributions. We had so much good food that I doubt that I sampled even half of the choices that were out. To point out any one thing, as being great, would be an injustice to the others, so suffice it to say "Yummy!"[p]We had a wonderful time, starting Friday night before the fest at the meet and greet, featuring, among other things, the good doctor's "BoneSmokers Bahama Mamas." Several toasts were raised to friends that were unable to attend, including Dr. BBQ, Banker John, Ken Stone and Poqal (Tonia recreated her Black Bean Salsa, to everyone’s delight). We have made many new friends who we hope will be joining us on a annual basis.[p]The cooking session went on all day Saturday, and after cleanup, somehow continued into the night (remember...what happens at Florida Fest, STAYS at Florida Fest), even after the park rangers had to quiet us down a bit. We estimate that we had about 75 people attending the festivites this year.[p]Again, thanks to all.[p]Larry

I musta left early, too.[p]BUT, the rangers did invite us back next year. They even want us back when they aren't busy with their own "Pioneer Days" Show and extravaganza. Maybe it's so they can keep a closer eye on us.[p]16 (all privately owned) ceramic cookers with smoke coming out of them practically all day Saturday. [p]Great time! Let's do it again![p]BOB
