Stumps One Eyed Roast

As some of you may remember...I grabbed me one of them boneless chuck eye roast beefs..and I was wonderin what I'd do with that lovely four pound nugget of one eyed meat. I ended up rubbin the majeebers outta it with cow lick steak rub..then let it sit overnight in the ice box. Next mornin..I got up bright an early..course as is usually the case..some parts was up earlier than others...and put that puppy on my precious medium egg with a whole heck of a lot of hickory..and just a small chunk of mesquite. I let that puppy cook low and slow at about 225 for about 7 hours..till it hit 200 degrees internal. I pulled it out of my prized egg (like my other eggs..prized only by myself..which is just as well I suppose since I'm the one what spends the most time with all of them)and wrappped it in foil..resisting all temptation to put the entire thing in a big loaf of bread and chow it down right then and there..cand I let it sit for an hour in the foil.[p]Come round dinner time..I lit a candle..put on some soft music..and I proceeded to pull that meat best I've ever done..which is sayin a whole heck of a lot...and I stuck that shredded one eyed meat in some cheap hamburger rolls...poured on some of my own home made vinegar type sauce..and proceeded to gobble down three of those puppies..barely even stoppin to breath. Three sammiches and two pairs of undies later..I was done..glowing...but done nontheless..just as well..cause I didn't have no more undies to switch to anyway...and on top of that..I was sitting there in the dinin room feelin not unlike a bloated tick..[p]I just cannot believe how good them pulled one eyed meat undie ruinin sammiches were..heaven..pure heaven...[p]If'n you haven't tried this yet...you just gotta do it..man alive..man alive..[p]Ahhh...the life of a Stump...[p]StumpBaby

StumpBaby,[p]No one can tell it like the Stump.....[p]That sure sounds good and my wife just took advantage of a $.99 per pound special at Save Rite on several of them. I may have to sneak me one out of the freezer and try to duplicate your efforts.[p]Thanks for a great post as usual.[p]
