Like other pet lovers our two Westies get Christmas presents from us, from relatives and neighbors. I found one this year that combines those things that our boys like best. It bounces when thrown, it looks like a squirrel or whatever in flight and it squeaks. It's made with a tennis ball, is 10" long and I found it for $6.

I have nothing to gain from posting this information, but I gotta tell you your dogs will love this! While I bought it locally I see they have a website.

My dog would tear the tail off of it in minutes. She loves eating tennis balls. I can only imagine how much she would attack that thing.

My dogs eat them. They each have one that they baby but destroy any other toys we bring home but I might give them a shot. Do they have a discount for a gross? :pinch:

I hear you Rod and maybe it wouldn't last long for larger dogs, but seeing that our youngest can shred toys better than a paper shredder this thing has held up. He goes ballistic seeing all the squirrels we have around so his revenge has been surpringly controlled in the "gotcha finally" stage and he walks around and around with it in his mouth!

Our three love a similar toy called the Critter (or in neon colors, the Punky Critter). The ball end is less tennis and more a velour-covered ball.

But it's a lot more expensive than $6... I might have to check into the tennistail....
