Santa brought a spider and a wok for Christmas, now I have to learn how to use these. Any help. Hope all had a great Christmas. Thank you for letting me be part of your forum.

Congratulations, IMO these are two of the first things to get for the egg.
I am not sure if there are any specific instructions. Go to the ceramic grill store site and 'mouse around' and you will get some ideas.
80 or 90 percent of my cooks I use both the spider & adjustable rig (AR). 99% of the time I use the AR.
I use the spider normal position for searing inverted for cooking and to rest a round drip pan which or inverted with a round drip pan for indirect cooking.
I like cooking up into the higher end of the egg so most always put the grid on the top of the AR. Sometimes I invert the AR with the grid so there is a solid ring to support the grid.
Indirect cooking for me consists of my deep dish pizza pan (drip pan) on the inverted spider along with the AR.
I also use the AR with the BGE extended grid for a nice smoke cook, I like some distance from the lump and the cooking level, this set up lets me get about a 16.5" distance between the lump and cooking grid.
Here are some of my uses with the spider and or the AR.

Now get cooking and just use the AR & Spider there is no wrong way other than not using them.

You'll love the food that comes off the wok on your egg!
Much better than stove top.Put spider legs down.pre heat egg to around 450' dome down.Open lid and close bottom damper a bit.when ready to cook put wok on spider, preheat.put a couple of drops of water on wok.if it vaporizes in a second or two..your wok is ready!Go to the library and check out.."The breath of a wok"
Here's a couple of pics..Happy woking!
