Met a couple of the guys

Well I FINALLY got to meet a couple of the gang while @ the Firey Food & BBQ show. I was not a vendor there, only a spectator.
I had the very fine privelage of meeting DRBBQ and Natureboy. I understand other eggers were there but the place was a real mad house with THOUSANDS of people, so I felt real lucky to get to shake hands with those two.
I took an extra suit case on the plane with me JUST to carry back some fine samplings of salsa, pepper jellies and even a couple of rubs....never have enough of that kind of stuff around ya know.[p]I just wanted to say to Woodoggies.........THANKS, Natureboy told me that you have a Marv's bumber sticker on you ice chest and call it.......Marv's
I had a GREAT time in NM I was able to take my wife, my son and his girlfriend for a whopping FIVE days. And YES, we ate more than our share of BBQ at all the GOOD places of course.[p]Marv

I was also there with my friend "Goose" Like you I got to meet DR BBQ and Nature Boy. Also got to meet New Bob. We had a great time together and consumed many many beers together on Saturday. We all stayed at the same hotel which worked out great. I drove over there so I brought home lots of fiery stuff. New Bob had a little accident on Sat. night and hurt his head. I hope he's feeling better. See-Yaa

It was great meeting you and Mrs. Marv. I ended up with some great salsa...better that any I have ever had. And some other goodies, but I had to be careful cuz I did not think to bring an extra suitcase. Did get some of drbbq's new BBQ sauce, and am really impressed.[p]Best of luck to you this season. I thought of that, but that wudda meant shipping out on Sunday, and Albequerque was an amazingly sleepy town compared with the DC area. Had no idea where to go.[p]I still ended up wedging quite a few bottles-o-stuff into my buldging suitcase!

Did you and New Bob ever get to Monroe's Saturday morning for Huevos Rancheros y Carne Adovada, "Christmas" (red and green), as I suggested to Bob in the hotel room over the phone....that would've given you some direction and results, bro! Hope you had a good wind-up to the Fiery Foods Show pilgrimage.....it was great to meet you and Bob Friday night.
