First Time Egger

I just had my first BGE experience. Followed the Naked Whiz's plans and made a table for a large egg. Purchased egg on Wed. and have made pork tenderloin, grilled chicken, steak, and chicken nuggets. Basically I have cooked every meal except breakfast on it. And the lady at the BGE store said she is using it to cook biscuits on....we'll see. The forum has been invaluable to me. I got a Polder thermometer, and it's too slick. I look forward to getting a little adventurous now that I have gotten my feet wet.

    Ham 'n Egg,
Just a matter of time, dude. Next step is to get a Guru and life will be complete.
    Best of luck

PS did some rib eyes today. Drenched in Olive oil after a liberal coating of cowlick. Let stand at room temp for 90 minutes or so. Seared at 700, then finished at 400 TRex style. Foilks said they were the best steaks they ever had. Makes the egg all worth while.
