Meat and taters

I've been wanting to try some of RichardFL rubs so tonight was the night. Shrimp with Death by Garlic with evoo. Antelope meat with Indian River Pixie Dust and evoo. I wanted a fatty with Swamp Venon, since I got alot of it!! I had a sweet tater and a red tater to cook up as well. No greens tonight.





All done. the sweet tater exploded at a temp of 300... what gives with that?

Great dinner!! Now I'm off to a Eve of Winter Blues concert with friends and my son as my date.

Great looking cook Molly. I've never had Antelope. Your sweet tater probably thought it was a kernel of pop corn and internal steam pressure caused it to pop. In the old days, LOL, when I nuked my taters I would always poke a few holes in them so the could vent their steam.

Have a great night out, a night of Blues with good company is hard to beat.

All looks really good Molly. I had a potato explode on me in the oven a few years ago, what a mess. So now I always cut a few slits into the top before baking anywhere.
