perfect standing rib roast & drip pan

My egg is fairly seasoned (and so am I) and we are together working on the perfect 10 lb standing rib roast for Christmas. I would appreciate any tips on the how-to part as I'm not seasoned in the SRRoast category. Don't know how to place a drip pan or where the heck to put it. That's really my main question as I don't want to serve smoked aluminum this year. I am task oriented so specific directions are surely welcome!
