Banker John,
Some just toss whole bulbs in the cooker and smoke until
garlic is soft.[p]I like to slice the stem end off exposing some of the raw garlic and pour on a little olive oil. Smoke until smooth like butter. I smoke at 225 to 250º until done.[p]Jim

Jim Minion,
i use the remove top and oil method mentioned temp is usually 250 to 350. put the garlic in an open dish and cook till the cloves carmelize to a nutty brown. they will be soft and if you squezze the bulb will just pop out.
