This was pretty good. The thighs had a little olive oil, S&P and dried tarragon from my herb garden. 400 raised direct for about 30 minutes. Used maple for smoke wood. An excuse to clean up some of the dead branches from the yard. :) Pull temp depended on which part of which piece I measured. I don't understand that, but it happens with EVERY cook. If I cook 4 thighs and measure each in 2 different spots, I will get 8 different measurements.

My first time cooking butternut. Thanks for the suggestion, Molly! I steamed it (for a bit too long), then deep fried. Very sweet and good! Next time, less steaming. Still quite good though.

Kale was stewed in water with some bacon fat, S&P. None of that plain old steamed stuff that Steven eats.

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!
