Does anyone EVER pay full price at BB&B?
I used to save the coupons, but don't bother any more. Seems like once a week, I get a new one in the mail.
And by the way, the fine print says they're not valid for certain brands like All-Clad and Wusthof. I don't recall trying to use one for All-Clad, but I have purchased a number of Wusthof and Henckels knives at 20% off.I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

I have about 20 coupons anxiously waiting. Just waiting on the Forum's incredible expertiece!
Thanks, Man. -

Now that you've publicly done your best to soil my reputation...you can call me and apologize...where then I will give the correct, and complete information you seek!I spent most of my money on good bourbon, and bad women...the rest, I just wasted!!

After pondering your response for several minutes, I've decided that is absolutely deploable of someone of your stature to evoke upon this Forum so trite a comment in response to a post. Obviously you are, indeed, lurking in the shadows, but it must take something major to bring you out anymore. What a pity for those Forum members who have never had the opportunity to experience your wit and sarcasm. It's in a class by itself.
I, for one, miss it. AH!

Oh, there's more. Read up! Nice of you to emerge!

that quick wit and keen sense of humor I used to have?

Hang on!!
I know it's here somewhere!!!I spent most of my money on good bourbon, and bad women...the rest, I just wasted!! -
Ha,
I signed up for the coupons twice and never get them, my mail goes to a box so someone may be keeping them.
My friends give me theirs. That Cuisinart set is $300 everywhere so 20% of is a good deal to me.
Cheers,

Big +1 on both!
LeCreuset has been the biggest surprise to me. Didn't think it could make cooking better AND easier, but it does.
Copper core All Clad is amazing, but you need to adjust to the heat level and retention.South SLO County -
Have you tried a thick paste of OxyClean? - leave it on for several days, adding water and lightly stirring/scrubbing periodically.
Not perfect, but MUCH better.South SLO County -
Thanks, SoCal. I'll give that a try.__________________________________________Dripping Springs, Texas.Just west of Austintatious

I have a set of Chantal cookware that I like a lot. Mine is green, and it comes with glass lids which are rimmed in stainless to make them more chip and break-resistant. None has ever been damaged. It's nice to be able to see into the pot or pan without removing the lid. I never liked the idea of Teflon so these are good because they have a hard enamel-like surface that fairly stick-resistant without releasing chemical in my food.
Another wonderful item for the stove is my large soapstone lidded pot; I think mine is probably the 8-qt one

It's very heavy but it's terrific for long, slow cooking and it keeps food warm on the table for long periods of time. When we moved to our property many years ago, while digging to plant fruit trees we unearthed a soapstone pot handle or foot. It was thousands of years old and was left by some of the original inhabitants of the site. It tickles me to use the same material for cooking - as though there's a thread connecting us with them.
