a small Egg to go with my Large. I just found out and had to tell someone that can relate.

Thanks to my daughter that occasionally listens, they got the cast iron grid and nest too.

It is back-ordered but supposed to be here in two weeks. I'm a lucky guy.

Thanks everyone for the kind feedback. Here in the western US it is rare to find anyone that has ever heard of the Egg, much less properly appreciates the addiction.

You guys/gals are great.

So starting today I begin whining about needing a new puppy. I'm thinking Rottweiler because Elvis needs a friend and I can't handle another running machine.

I figure a year, give or take. With a houseful of girls it takes a while to be heard about anything. Took me two years to succeed with the small BGE, but I figure it'll go a lot quicker with a puppy.

These are the best of times, even though the employment situation stinks at the moment.

And yes, I am blessed. Thanks again, all. Photos will be forthcoming before I dirty up that shiny new Egg!
