It is restaurant quality. Great stuff. Prices are lower then most places. Its mostly bulk sales, though.

They usually have different grades of beef which is nice. You can buy meat in smaller quantities (2 butt packer) but you have to pay attention to the posted price which is the "by the case" price. The price for the indiviual brisket or butt packer is in much smaller print.
  • meats are good but in my area the beef is select or angus ,, not usda choice or prime ,, which is my preference.. you can however get lots of stuff in bulk and lots of things you cannot get elsewhere, it is worth it, however.. getting a card can be difficult ,, you need a food business tin or charity/non-profit papers..last months kcbs news said if you are a member you can get a card!

I went there once. The meat selection was large as were the quantities. If you have an extra freezer with lots of space, it a good place to purchase in bulk.

    bill,

You can get a membership with any business license number. I got mine with my state contractor license number. :P My buddy used his electrical license :silly:
  • Soooo....
There is one as close to me as the Metro???
    I did not know this.
    Thanks.
  • When I signed up, I showed them my "Texas Posters" sales tax permit. When they asked what Texas Posters is, I said it was my wife's taqueria. That was OK with them.

I haven't bought that much from them. I don't see that their prices are much better. I do buy Land O' Lakes Easy Melt cheese because it is not sold retail. Most all Tex-Mex restaurants use that cheese.

St. Paul; very near the fair grounds.

Let me know if you need a card to get in. I always need a good excuse to go shop for meat :woohoo:
