Egg Mates Side Tables

I am almost convinced to purchase the folding Egg Mates side tables!! How difficult of a job is it to install the Egg Mates on a large Egg?? Will I need to remove the lower band??( I assume this is what I will need to do)
Has anyone done this job?? Any tips or suggestions for me?? Any help is appreciated!!

AZ Geoff,[p]Yes, you have to remove the lower band, but it's not that difficult. A second set of hand would be helpful, but i did mine without help. Make sure you get an extra set of nuts and bolts for the bands. I had to cut the bolts in order remove them. Also, when reinstalling the bands, The nuts should start to bend (thats how you know you have tightened them enough!

my 2 cents worth is to make sure he uses stainless steel nuts and bolts on that band. As a kicker I also used locking washers plus a locking nut...I know, I know - kinda like wearing both a belt and suspenders, but I don't worry about my dome falling off now!

Not to pick nits, but the bolts should bend, not the nuts. If the nuts bend, you got serious problems, methinks! LOL[p]TNW
