Yo, Wise one about your V8 & Wings recipe

Your January recipe post interested me and finally I'm getting around to trying it Sunday. I got the impression from the dialogue that followed that the "Texas Pete" hot sauce you recommend [that I can't find] is just a mild sauce. Right? Guess I'll substitute what's available up here in the flatlands of Illinois.[p]BTW if anybody is interested here's that post

Texas Pete is mild relative to Tabasco. I grew up in NC and now live in AL and it is readily available in both places. Must be a southern thang!

I agree on Texas Pete being very mild compared to Tabasco.
I use both, because I like it hot and many do not. Franks has a wing sauce that is kid friendly but has a good flavor.
