LoveHandles,[p]Here's another one that is pretty yummy. I made Gyros with it, but you don't have to...[p]It's on my recipe page under "Main Dishes"[p]Tonia

    LoveHandles,
Butterfly the leg and make multiple stab wounds into the meat. Place slivers of garlic in each stab wound. Marinate it in olive oil and lemon juice at a ratio of 3:1. Whisk in 3 tblsps dried oregano into the marinade. Let it sit in the fridge for 24-48 hours, turning the meat occassionally. Grill on a raised grid at 400-450 dome - about 5-8 minutes a side. Let it sit for 15-20 minutes and then slice. The best Greek style grilled lamb you can make. Enjoy.

LoveHandles, rosemary oregeno mint pepper salt and garlic. i like to trex it with a 700 sear and then roast at 325. i like it red @ 122 internal, for medium rare @127 to 130F. never over cook lamb past 130

  • QBabe,
Man, both of those sound like really bitchin receipes. Do you have a favorite? Thanks a lot for your help. Either one I do should impress the heck out of my friends, don't you think? Thanks again--See-Yaa

LoveHandles,[p]Hard to say which was favorite...the lamb and the raspberry ginger sauce was killer, but so was the greek one. They have such different flavors, it's hard to compare.[p]I guess it would depend on the folks I was cooking for. If they are people who like to try new things go for the one with the raspberry ginger sauce, since it's something they're not likely to find elsewhere. If they're not real adventurous, the greek one is safe enough for them, but is really outstanding in it's own right...[p]Have fun!
