tiger, Try "Allegro" marinade on large shrimp like you have. I like "Original", but "Teriyake" or "Hot" versions are good too. Put shrimp in Allegro for about 20 minutes, and wrap part of a piece of bacon around each, securing with a toothpick. Now you have "Angels on Horseback".
Remove bacon before serving if fat is a concern. Allegro is readily available here in Kansas grocery stores.
