Hi Billy,[p]Peppers are pretty easy to grow here. We usually plant jalepenos, cayennes, sweet banana, green bell, and cubanelle. And, they are great if you smoke them, dehydrate, and grind into powder...[p]Tonia

QBabe,[p]Is that two layers of peppers on two pizza screens?[p]What a great idea![p]See ya' and Mr. Hyde in March!

BobinFla,[p]Yes, two layers on two screens...and when crushed, they gave a wonderful smokey bite to whatever I was using them in...[p]See ya in March,

QBabe,[p]I agree on the smokey and dried and crushed. I'd just never thought about the double stack. This just *might* convince me to smoke more peppers, since I have 2 twelve inch and 2 fourteen inch screens that sit around unused most of the time. [p]Again, Thanks for the idea. I just might do a demo pepper smoke in March.[p]BOB

QBabe,
Can you tell me how much sun they get? I'm trying to find a place to put mine now. Planting them today. I can't wait....

Wardster,[p]Ours get quite a few hours (6 or so) of full sun per day. They're pretty tolerant of our forgetfulness and lack of watering on a regular basis. Plus, most bugs seem to stay away from them (wonder why, hee, hee?). The only time I had problems with bugs was when the tomato worms stripped a bunch of them to skeletans one year![p]Tonia
