Broiling pan on the Large?

I'm trying to figure out what to cook my 20lb turkey in on my Large tomorrow. The only pan I seem to have that is big enough for the bird and small enough for the egg is the black broiler pan that came with my oven. It's a little shallow, but I figure it ought to hold all of the drippings (and if it doesn't, I can start siphoning some off). Is there anything to be wary about with such a dark-colored pan inside the egg?

Thanks!

I don't see why the colour of the pan should make a difference. I used my (grey) broiler pan to catch stuff too when we had Thanksgiving last month. Mine was only a 13 pound bird though. :-)

    jlew,
I'm not the one to ask about what to put a turkey in to cook for thanksgiving but, I use a broiler pan from an oven as a drip pan for other cooks and I simply line it with HDAF for easy cleanup. Tim

    This is my large BGE.

I also have the top notched but, I only used the top once because I had to clean it after a cook when I did not line it with foil and it was hard to clean.

Otherwise this works great as a drip pan.

This works just fine in the large egg. It fits great.

I dunno, I figured all broiler pans are dark for maximum heat absorption, and maybe this could end up scorching my bird. Probably being paranoid, especially at 350 degrees.
