Just a quick note to plant the seed for the soon to be planned (maybe???) GardenStatefest (name open to suggestions). Maybe a park that allows bbq'ing. Maybe a day at some local hall or, dare I say, an event sponsored by a local distro. Or maybe even a bunch o' eggers at my apartment![p]Just wanted to post to get the wheels a turnin' plus to get the name (again, open for input) to start sticking. GardenStatefest. GSF. Veggies in the Garden are at a particularly crunchy State...let's eat them before they Fester there too long. GardenStatefest. New Jersey and the BGE: perfect together. GSF.[p]OK...I've sufficiently "killed it" for now...

    Cornfed,
Gee, just about any state I'm in is a Garden state, it being my favorite hobby. Garden veggies in the egg are yummy.[p]Mary

    Mary,
I loved the bread you made and the grilled veggies at the EggFest. They were great. 'Tis the season.
We were happy to meet you and as I mentioned, you held up quite well under the Irish onslaught.
    Cheers,
    Gretl

    Gretl,
Thanks. I suspect your Irish onslaught enjoys startling people. ;-)[p]I enjoyed meeting you and yours too.[p]Mary

Carey,[p]I dunno. I think I'm going to contact the distributor from whom I purchased my BGE. It's in Mendham, NJ. Mendham is a beautiful area (yes...there are beautiful areas in NJ...) and there's this awesome park with a pond right down the road from the dealer that would suit the Eggers just fine.[p]I'd assume that's a long shot, though, but I'd be open for helping to organize something small in a local park or something. Some type of BYOFest. At this type of event, you need to bring your own Eggs to cook. We can get a park and some BGEs and go to town.[p]Don't know if anyone would be interested in such an event. I'll prob wait a few weeks for E2Kcitement to die down then post and see if anyone's really interested.[p]Cornfed
