Small Egg, steaks, and miscellany..all unrelated..I think

Well,[p]Yours truly tried his first steaks on the Egg Wed. night. Bacon wrapped Filets. Meat was cooked to my liking for temp and coloring, but the flavor was a touch too smokey--I think the the bacon wrap in this case may not have worked well on the Egg. I usually do steaks on my TEC InfraRed and have had 7 years on it to perfect my kraft. For now, TBD on the steak scene.[p]I got a steal of a deal on a Small today and just did it. Itches do need scratching sometimes after all (Stumpbaby may have fun with that);-). Cash deal, good for all involved. Is there a BGE Anonymous group yet? :-D[p]I am finding the recipe exchanges here downright dazzling. Also, I had a Dutch Oven show up this week from Amazon.....did you ever see how many Dutch Oven sites there are? Man oh man, they make us look like rookies. Will be doing chili in the dutch oven on Egg, ABTs, Wings (still working on 'em), and Ribs on Sunday.
